Random House Studio is a production company responsible for adapting books published by Penguin Random House to film and TV. The company, originally owned by Penguin Random House (then jointly owned by Bertelsmann and Pearson), was acquired by fellow Bertelsmann subsidiary FremantleMedia North America in 2016. Meridian has entered partnership with Frementle Media North America, where it operates and oversees Random House Studios theatrical slate.
